On Nov. 28 an 80 foot spruce made it through Super storm Sandy and was lit with lights in Rockefeller center at the 80th annual tree lighting.

There were thousands of onlookers crowding the streets to see the traditional tree lighting for the holiday season. Several performers were entertaining the crowd while they were waiting to see the miraculous lighting of the tree. I thought that the Ceremony was very festive and I enjoyed seeing the lighting of the tree.
