Abbey Manzanares, Copy Editor
Abbey Manzanares is the copy editor on the Shawnee Heights newspaper staff. She is a senior and this is her second year on the newspaper staff. She has experience on the yearbook staff as well. Two things to know about Abbey is that she likes to eat lemons by themselves and that she has two pet rocks named Peyton and Sawyer. Abbey is a cheer captain, FCS captain, STUCO class representative, Spirit Club vice president, Link Crew commissioner, Key Club president, and a National Honors Society Member. She branched out this year and joined the girls wrestling team as well as the swim team. She plans to go to either Emporia or Washburn and major in Elementary Education. She hopes to get her masters in administration and become a principal.
